The wedding of Amitabh Bachchan, The Super Star of Bollywood and Jaya Bachchan, his queen of hearts, married to be in the year 1973 while they were filming for Bollywood movies Sholay and Abhimaan.
Bollywood celebs Amitabh & Jaya Bachchan spent their honeymoon while Sholay was on hold. Its shooting could start only after their return from honeymoon.
Their marriage was to be just 7 days before the shooting of the Bollywood song ‘Teri Bindiya Re, Aye Haye, Tera Jhumka Re’ in which Jaya was looking a perfect bride.
The marriage of Amitabh and Jaya got completed as per the Bengali Brahmin community rituals to which Jaya belonged to before marriage. Amitabh hails from a Kayastha family.
