Rani Mukherjee Biography

Rani Mukherjee was born on 21st March 1978, in the state of West Bengal in India. Her zodiac sign is Pisces. She is 5 feet 2 inches tall. Her light brown eyes and husky voice gives her unique personality among the Indian heroines. She feels comfortable in Jeans and tops but at the same time the Indian dress like the saris and from the western collection and gowns also attracts her. She likes most the fish preparations made by her mother. She is not on dieting but avoids cold drinks and heavy food items. She loves the meal prepared at home like the plain roti, dal and salads. Her favorite hobby is dancing and recently she is learning the Odissi dance form of Indian Dance.

Rani Mukherjee is a very homely girl at her heart; she is single till date and has no plans to marry in the near future. She claims that she is a simple Bengali girl at home and not allowed to act like a star there; many times she gets the yelling from her mother and after the marriage she would opt for a nice and quite life of a housewife.

Regarding her marriage she says that she would prefer a love marriage which is arranged with the consent of her parents and she is yet to find the Prince charming of her dreams. She is very touchy about her parental house in Kolkata, she says that if allowed or compelled she would not sell the parental house at any cost.

She was invited recently to the Dinner hosted in the honor of the Pakistani President Gen. Parvez Musharraf and his wife, which Rani attended with her father.

She is a very soft hearted person as far as the charity is concerned; she has come out in support of the disabled and the needy whenever a sincere call was made to her.

Rani purchased a house in the Juhu area in the year 2006, which was decorated and furnished with the help of twinkle Khanna.

Her best pastime is to play with her sweet little niece, she calls her ‘Mishti' affectionately and ready to spend her whole life beside the little one. While on the sets whenever she gets time she gets a glimpse of her beloved niece by looking on the photograph which she has stored in her mobile phone.
